Following the success of its previous cable test seminars, Megger UK has announced the date for the fifth of these biennial events. It will be held on Thursday, 28 September 2017 in the Premier Suite of The National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, near Birmingham in the UK. Immediately adjacent to Junction 6 of the M42 motorway and just a five-minute taxi ride from Birmingham Airport, this location is easy to reach and ample free parking is available onsite.
Presentations exploring the latest innovations in cable test technology, with a particular emphasis on the practical use of partial discharge techniques with respect to MV cable, and diagnosis and location of faults on both LV and MV networks will be made by speakers from Megger’s world-class cable test development centre in Baunach, Germany. The programme will also include presentations from a range guest speakers who include DNOs and cable service industries.
Throughout the day, delegates attending the seminar will have opportunities for hands-on examination of a wide range of cable test equipment and for discussing their own specific requirements and challenges with Megger’s experts. There will also be ample time for networking and exchanging information with other delegates. The detailed programme is still being finalised.
