Work Experience Programme

We recognise that work experience is a great way to inspire future engineers and provides students with an opportunity to find out more our company and support their STEM learning at school/college.

Our week long Work Experience Programme provides students with an opportunity to experience working in a number of different departments in our organisation.

The programme starts with a tour of our headquarters and an essential induction covering the important aspects of health and safety within the workplace. Students are then given the opportunity to work with our colleagues in the following departments:

  • Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) teams
  • Service and repair team
  • Building and wiring team
  • Engineering and design team
  • Test gear team
  • Power products team

Each team manager provides hands on experience where possible and appropriate for the students.

At the end of the programme, students are provided with a work based report that provides constructive feedback for the students. The programme will provides students with real life experience of working in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
