We know from the research and statistics that there is a short fall in Engineers coming through the educational system. There are a number of initiatives at a national and local level to support the development of future engineers and Megger is involved in a number of STEM activities across Kent.
Megger is passionate about developing future talent and engineers and we have a long standing relationship supporting local schools and colleges with their STEM curriculum and learning.
Our STEM Ambassadors provide valuable support, advice and guidance to students within the s
chool/college setting and at careers fairs. The engineers provide practical activities for students to put into action the theory they are learning in the classroom.
We also provide opportunities for students to visit us so they can see how the company operates with our successful work experience programme and get an insight into a career in engineering and manufacturing first hand.
